Boards and Commissions Roster

The Board of Adjustment grants variances under circumstances defined by ordinance; permits exceptions as defined by ordinance; authorizes additional uses as defined by ordinance; and hears and decides cases where alleged error by the Building Commissioner has occurred. The Board of Adjustment also reviews and decides on appeals when it is deemed that the true intent of the Building Codes has been incorrectly interpreted; the provisions of the Code do not duly apply; or an equally good or better form of construction can be used. The decision of the Board of Adjustment and the reasons for the granting or denial of every variance will be in the Record of Proceedings.  BOA meets on the 2nd Monday of the month.
