All interested persons will be given an opportunity to make comments concerning the design of the Geyer Road Resurfacing – Phase 2 Project. Additional information can be found on the city’s website at https://www.kirkwoodmo.org/government/departments/public-services/engineering/projects. The proposed project elements are as follows:
• New ADA compliant curb ramps/landings at the street intersections located between West Adams Ave and Big Bend Rd
• Milling of the road surface for a new asphalt overlay
• Improved pavement marking
• Improvements at the Union Pacific Railroad
• New signals at Argonne Ave
• Improvements at multiple crosswalks
• Radius improvements for pedestrian safety
• Temporary Construction Easements as indicated on the plans
• Permanent Easements as indicated on the plans
• Removal of Improvements as indicated on the plans
Preliminary plans, maps, plats, environmental documentation, and other detailed information prepared by the City of Kirkwood’s engineering consultant (CMT) will be
available at the public meeting. Tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will be discussed at the open house-style format.
